ABOUT

Mingei (folk art) is the intersection of the mind and the object.
Mingei is a sound, healthy, and pure craft that communicates with the hearts of the common people.

OUR PRIDE: TOTTORI, JAPAN

Tottori Prefecture is one of the smallest prefectures in Japan and is rich in nature, with mountains, rivers, and sea. Handicrafts have been thriving here since ancient times, and a variety of craft techniques have been passed down from generation to generation. Handicrafts nurtured by the natural environment and natural materials have been handed down from generation to generation and are used in modern lifestyles.

OUR EXPERIENCE

They are not only of high quality because of the high level of skill of their makers, but also because of their extensive experience in distinguishing between good and bad materials and finishing with carefully selected materials. If you need repair or maintenance of your household goods or furniture after using them for a long time, we are always ready to help you. After being repaired by skilled craftsmen, they will become irreplaceable for you as you continue to use them for many years to come.

OUR AMBITION

The natural materials nurtured by the environment of Tottori are transformed by the hands of artisans into a variety of daily life tools such as dyed textiles, ceramics, forged knives, woodwork, and bamboo products to enrich the lives of those who use them.
